*Important COVID Vaccine update*

The department of Health has allocated certain amount of COVID vaccine to the clinic.  The department has also set a date for the vaccine roll for golden city medical clinic in the week starting the 29th of March (no definite date). During the last few weeks, doctors, nurses and staff are working hard to make this process as smooth as possible.  we need our patients to be aware of their eligibility in phase 1b.  The vaccine is available for patients over 70 y.o, aboriginal and TSI over 55 y.o and patients with certain chronic medical conditions.Please check your eligibility on https://covid-vaccine.healthdirect.gov.au/eligibility.We kindly ask for your patience during this process. We would like to reassure our eligible patients that they will all have access to the vaccine in due time. 

Covid-19 Vaccination

Golden City Medical Clinic has always been committed to offering our patients with the highest level of medical care and be able to fullfill the needs of our patients. Hence, the clinic has expressed interest to be included as Covid-19 Vaccine provider.  We have been recently notified that the clinic has been selected to be one of the providers of phase 1b Covid Vaccine.We have not yet been advised when the vaccines will be disributed to selected clinics, more likely it will be towards end of March. We shall keep updating our news page when more details when they become available.  COVID-19 vaccines willl be become available in phases. Doctors, Nurses and Staff at Golden City Medical Clinic would like to wish all our patients and their families a safe and Merry Christmas and happy New Year.
The year 2020 has been very challenging to most of us. While supporting each other, we were able to pull through and look forward to offering our dedicated services to our patients in 2021.

Please note that the clinic will be closing early on Christmas Eve Thursday the 24th of December and will be closed from Thursday the 25th of December to Monday 28th December and will reopen on Tuesday 29th of December. During these days, one of our doctors will be on call to provide emergency medical services to our registered patients.  If you require urgent medical attention, please ring the clinic on 5441 4554 and listen carefully to the recorded message.  Your call will be directed to the doctor on call. If you need to leave a message, make sure you clearly record your name and phone number to enable the on-call doctor to return your call.
